practiced!!!!!!

March 8th
Practiced for 28minutes. Practiced the scales, and band musics.
Practiced...
"The Pirates" and the "Second Suite" also the "Rhosymedre" and lastly the "Rumble On High Plains." On "Second Suite" I started from the beginning and wooshed all the way to the end!! On... "Rumble On High Plains" I only practiced the beginning because I always just get the first part wrong. So, I wrote down the notes that goes with the first part. On "The Pirates" since I don't remember the middle part of the song, I just did sight-reading. I practiced chromatic scales, number three and four. I also did page 10 and 11 of the purple book. And that was MY day!!!

Practice!!!!

March 04th

I practiced for 33 minutes today. I worked on Scale skill of the purple book about 18minutes, and practiced "Rhosymedre", "Pirates", and "2nd Suite". When I was working on my scale skills, I noticed that I was keep making a mistake at the same part. It was playing F instead of D in 3rd bar, playing B instead of G on second line 4th bar, and same on 3rd line 1st bar. I also made mistake when slurring has changed in each parts. I guess I got confused. In "Rhosymedre", I realized that counting is very important in this 2nd flute part. Because there are not many people who actually are playing 2nd flute, and the tempo is pretty awkward to follow and fit along with 1st flutes. I counted the measure while I was playing and did that like 3 times.

practiced!

March 1st!!

Practiced for 37minutes. Practiced scales with the purple book for 15minutes. Practiced the part where it says, scale skills, and other usual things too. I practiced 'Pirates of Carribean' again, and ending part of 'Rumble on High Plains'. I also practiced begining part of '2nd suite' too. I don't know why but '2nd suite is more easy to make high notes than 'Pirates of Carribean'. I figured practicing is the only way to solve it. I also practiced middle part of 'Light Eternal'.
